In-Person Tutoring

Our in-person tutoring occurs at your home or at a convenient location. You can choose any productive study space near you, such as a library or coffee shop. We’ll schedule a session at a time and place that’s ideal for you, and your tutor will commute to you! Your tutor can re-teach the material just like a classroom teacher—but in a way that’s optimal for student comprehension.

Online Tutoring

Our online tutoring takes place in our user-friendly virtual classroom. This offers the same real-time, one-on-one experience as in-person sessions, but from a remote location. Our online platform is hassle-free and doesn't demand any additional software. It includes all the essential tools: a virtual whiteboard, text and code editors, screen and file sharing, and more. Both you and your tutor can use these tools simultaneously, creating a collaborative experience just like studying together in person!

Who is LearningSquad

Learning Squad is a private tutoring service catering to students in the Southern California region. We personally pair students with local tutors and experts from our team. Your Learning Squad member will offer top-notch tutoring, meeting you in person either at your home or another suitable public spot.

How long is a tutoring session?

Each session is 60 minutes. A session may be extended or shortened based on request.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that illnesses, family commitments, or unforeseen situations might prevent you from attending your scheduled session. If you provide us with prior notice, we're glad to reschedule your tutoring without any extra charges. However, as filling a tutoring slot on short notice is challenging, we kindly request a 24-hour advance notice for cancellations. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need to cancel a session.

How many sessions does my child need?

We view every student as a unique individual. We can propose the optimal number of sessions after evaluating your child's strengths, areas for improvement, learning style, and academic goals within the Learning Squad framework.
